Installing apps
From a file stored on the device using TDM
If you are installing an app using TDM’s Install application option, then only the Feature permissions > App install permission is required.
However, you will require at least one application capable of finding files to be unhidden.
Launching an install from another app (e.g. Google Drive)
In addition to the App installs feature permission, you will temporarily need the permission Feature permissions > Unknown app sources.
Using a USB mass storage device
In addition to the App installs feature permission, you will temporarily need the following permissions:
Feature permissions > Mount physical media
Feature permissions > USB file transfer
Security > General > Other > USB Data Signalling
Using the Google Play Store
In addition to the App installs feature permission, if you have not yet signed into the Google Play Store, you will require the Modify accounts permission. This can be revoked after signing in, but will be required again before removing the Google account.
Using the Android Debug Bridge (ADB)
In addition to the App installs feature permission, you will temporarily need the following permissions:
Feature permissions > Debugging
Security > General > Other > USB Data Signalling
