Installing with NFC and the Internet

If your device has NFC and can connect to the Internet, you can follow this quick start guide.

Prerequisites

You will need:

  • An Android device running Android 7+ with NFC (see these instructions for devices without NFC).

  • A SmartLicence smartcard with at least one licence remaining (or, have previously activated this device using this smartcard).

  • An Internet-connected Wi-Fi access point (see these instructions if you cannot connect to the Internet).

  • (Optional) A USB storage device formatted with the FAT32 file system, containing in the root directory any Android applications you wish to install alongside TDM.

Note

If the device has already been setup, then you must factory reset it.

Sign out of your Google account before resetting to deactivate Factory Reset Protection using these instructions.

Installation
